Nazareth 11th February @ The Musician
in conjunction with Cheeseweasel Promotions
Xander Promotions is dedicated to bringing good bands to Leicester audiences and helping to keep live music going. Anyone who would like a link included please contact me and I'll do my best to oblige.
Nazareth are the next gig, playing on 11th February followed by Mentallica on 20th. Needless to say, the Nazareth date is a bit of a coup for The Musician as it will be one of the few proper venues on their tour - who wouldn't rather see a band at a music venue than in a theatre with 1,000 other people?
March sees Egypt return after their hugely successful stand in spot for The Groundhogs in August of this year. Hopefully this one will be even better.
Dumpy's Rusty Nuts return on 11th April and on 14th April The Jon Amor Band (ex Hoax) will be playing. 7th May sees Fred Zeppelin making their first appearance at The Musician and The Mustangs are back on 15th May following a fantastic gig in Nov 09. Pendragon will be making their first appearance at The Musician on Sunday 30th May - an excellent way to spend your bank holiday weekend! For gigs later in the year, please see gig listings.
Over at The Criterion, Blues Positive will be playing on 29th January with The Piranha Brothers returning on 19th March - great Friday nights out, especially as the pub serves probably the best pizzas in Leicester! (Not to mention the real ale).
