BANDS
THE MUSTANGS blistering live sets and albums have been wowing fans all over the country since the four-piece band formed in Hampshire in 2002. Young veterans of the UK blues scene, the Mustangs have headlined stages at renowned UK festivals such as Colne, Skegness and Swanage and in 2009 were invited to play 2 nights at Paris' legendary Zinc Blues Festival. Signed to the Blues Matters label, the band stands apart from most of today's blues acts by only releasing original material which is inspired by, but not replicating the traditional blues they love. Their third album, Split Decision, reached number 5 on the iTunes blues chart, and its successor, Nothing Stays The Same, was one of Blues in Britain magazine's 20 recommended albums of the year. Their sixth and latest album, Cut Loose, is the band's strongest yet, capturing the band's blistering live sound better than ever. The band is led by the stunning voice of charismatic lead singer/guitarist Adam Norsworthy, and augmented by the authentic blues harp of Derek Kingaby and tight, rock solid rhythm section of bassist Ben Mckeown and drummer Jon Bartley.

TREACLE TOWN currently host a 'Rhythm & Blues Evening' at the King William IV Pub at Market Bosworth 01455 290241 every second Thursday of each month 8.30pm - 11pm.
Triad

Triad is a British three-piece rock & blues band, based in the Midlands, on the borders of
Nottingham and Leicester. The band is booked to play at the 2010 Great British Rn’B
Festival in Colne and have recently been booked to open for such acts as ex Bad Co, Sinner Boy, The Mustangs and Bernie Marsden.
The band’s sound and style can best be described as a heady mix of great British blues,
somewhere between Humble Pie, Free, and Rory Gallagher, crossed with Nine Below Zero
and Dr Feelgood (with a splash of Jimi Hendrix for good measure).
This is backed up by the band’s material. A typical evening’s set list will include numbers
such as Red House, All or Nothing, Natural Born Boogie, Voodoo Chile, and some blues
classics. These are all very much aimed at giving the audience a damn good night out!
The line up consists of: Malc Watson (lead vocals and guitars), Scott Clarke (bass guitar and vocals) and
Jules Freeston (drums and vocals).
The band has a collective age of almost 130, but do not let that fool you! These guys know their trade. Malc and Jules have both been professional at some stage of their careers and all are passionate about the music they play and the standards they set. The same sentiment applies to the equipment list for both the band and each individual.
The band is now on the road and looking to enhance a local reputation that is fast growing into a national following, with more bookings across the UK.
For more information, or to book the band, please contact Jules on 07941 143 598 or Malc on 0773 926 0348. Or e-mail triad2007music@gmail.com.

The ethos, persona and mission statement of this Nottingham based Rock group is simply that! And nothing will change this attitude as Jezebel work towards defining a new sound of Nottingham: mixing the old skool with the new, the mad with the mellow and the glitz with dark, brooding shadows... There is definitely a youthful sound to this mature band; music is a passion, an obsession maybe, and it shows. And it sure as hell rocks!
Lead singer, and now also bassist, Jay Lei sought to create what he missed most in music: that special Rock sound that greats from G'n'R to Thin Lizzy to Zeppelin understood- a well balanced recipe of groove, power and catchy songs that stick in the head. At the same time, he sought musicians that would strive to create and define their own sound, rather than imitating others; a sound mixing Classic bluesy rock and modern Rock and Roll and injecting a dose of metal influences to give it some bite.
